Applications: BLC can teach you how to efficiently use your computer. We can teach you how to use all types of applications including Microsoft Applications such as: Windows XP, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, Publisher).

Peripherals: BLC can teach you how to use all your peripherals. Do you believe that "Plug and Play" really means that you plug it in and it will work? Of course not, but we can teach you how to use it after we help you install it. Or if you have it already installed we can teach you the ins and outs of the equipment (i.e.. scanning images, printing at different resolutions and much more).

Email: Email is probably the most common form of communication other than a telephone. US Mail, or "Snail Mail", is something that is used less and less for personal communications. Most snail mail today is Junk Mail. We can teach you how to send emails, attachments, how to carbon copy emails to people, and more. Email will keep you in contact with people no matter where they provided they have a way to access their email. Email is also a great way to share photos with your family and friends who are across town or on the other side of the world. Email has no boundaries.

Internet: You obviously have a little experience with the Internet if you are viewing this right now. But there is always more to learn, such as installing applications from the Internet, what to click, and what not to click. Let us teach you the correct way to browse the Internet.

Networking Basics: You might already have a small network in your home or small busines, but for some reason you can't print to a printer on another computer. First, BLC will come and correct all your problems. Then we can teach you the basics of networking so you can correct these minor problems from file sharing to Internet sharing.

Digital Photography: Most people today own a digital camera. The old film cameras are being thrown to the wayside. We can show you how to use your camera, get the pictures onto your computer, print them in your home or office, and even how to get them printed professionally. We can even help you getting your pictures online to share with family and friends.

Digital Videography: Have an old camcorder? Might be time to upgrade to a new digital camcorder. The quality is much much better than the analog recorder. Digital video can then be transferred to your computer, edited, and a DVD can be created from that file.

MP3/Music: Do you have an iPod or another MP3 player? Is sitting collecting dust because it is not as easy as it sounds to get the music on it so you can take it with you? Well let us make it easy and teach you the way to transfer the music to your player. We can also show you places to get your music online, or how to take your existing CD library and convert them to MP3s so you can take them with you.

CD/DVD Burning: The day of the floppy disk is gone. If you buy a new computer today, putting a floppy drive in it will be an option. Most personal computers have a DVD burner or a CD burner in them (a DVD burner will also burn CDs). Need to move some files from computer to computer? Burning them on a CD is one of the easiest and fastest ways to do it. Have a large amount of digital pictures that you want to send to family? Burn them on a CD or DVD.

File Transfers: Need to take files with you? If your new computer doesn't have a floppy drive and you don't want to burn a CD, well there are other ways to move files. We can help you.
